GROUND TURKEY SWEET POTATO SKILLET

Ingredients:

  • 3 little or a pair of giant sweet potatoes, unclothed and diced (about three cups)
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • ½ cup cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon flavourer
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a giant forged iron pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook for one minute and so add ground turkey. Use a picket spoon to interrupt apart meat and continue cookery more or less eight minutes till bronzed.
  2. Add cumin, flavourer, salt and pepper. Stir well to include.
  3. Add onion and bell pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add diced sweet potato and water. Stir and canopy with a lid for roughly 6-8 minutes till the sweet potatoes soften. Add extra water throughout this method if required to stay the meat from drying out.
  4. Remove lid and add extra salt and pepper if required. high with chopped cheese and permit it to soften. take away pan from heat and garnish with recent cilantro before serving
