Ingredients:
FOR THE DISH:

  • 2 (12 in. long) French Baguettes, remove 1/2 slices (discard the ends)
  • 12 Ounces cheese, Softened
  • 1/4 Cup sirup
  • 2 Cups Blueberries
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 giant Eggs
  • 1 one/2 Cups cream or Milk
  • 1/2 Teaspoon flavoring

FOR THE TOPPING:

  • 1/2 Stick Butter
  • 1/3 Cup refined sugar
  • 1/4 Cup sirup
  • 1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

OVERNIGHT BLUEBERRY FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE

Instructions:

  1. Lightly butter a three quart casserole dish.
  2. In a medium bowl employing a hand mixer or giant spoon, mix the cheese with the sirup, and cinnamon, then fold within the blueberries.
  3. Spread regarding one Tablespoon of the blueberry cheese mixture onto one facet of every slice of bread. Place bread slices equally during a row within the ready baking dish.
  4. Use a glass cup or medium bowl to whisk along the eggs, cream or milk, and flavoring. Pour mixture equally over bread slices.
  5. Cover pan with foil and refrigerate a minimum of four hours to long. (Overnight is best).
  6. Preheat kitchen appliance to 350 degrees.
  7. Place the dish within the kitchen appliance with the foil on and bake for thirty five minutes. take away the foil and bake for a further ten minutes till prime is golden brown.

FOR THE TOPPING:

  1. Melt butter during a little pan over medium heat. Whisk within the refined sugar till sleek. Whisk within the sirup and cinnamon. Drizzle over dish as desired.

Notes:

  • Recent or frozen blueberries are often used for this formula.
